On this day, your guide for the trek picks you up and a drive to Syabrubesi starts. You get to enjoy views of the beautiful Trisuli River, the Terraced Hills, rice terrains, and traditional villages.
Passing by Trisuli Bazar, Dhunche (Gateway to Langtang National Park) you reach your destination, Syabrubesi. It is a beautiful settlement surrounded by giant rocky hills where the Bhote Koshi and Langtang rivers get mix.

The Langtang Valley Trek officially begins by crossing a suspension bridge over the Bhote Koshi River followed by the dense green forest of Oak, Maple trees, rhododendron, and Bamboo. It consists of steep ascents and gradual downhill. The lush vegetation with damp and mossy forest may offer you the chance to witness Red Panda, Langur monkeys, Black bears, and Musk deer if lucky.
Leaving Sybrubesi you pass by the teahouses of Domen River View, Pahiro, Bamboo, and Rimche before reaching Lama Hotel. It is a cluster of teahouses that is nestled in between the lush forest on the riverside of Langtang River. The teahouses provide basic and comfortable lodging with solar support for electricity.

The trek continues on the dense forests of rhododendron, Hemlock, and Oak forests, then ends with the large yak pasture fields, Barren hills, and mountain views today. The paths are rocky, narrow, and have few uphill and downhill.
The morning starts with the soothing sounds of the Langtang River. You pass by the teahouse of Riverside while enjoying the first glimpses of Langtang Lirung before reaching Ghodatabela. From this point Landscape shifts to large Yak pastures and alpine meadows. Then the trail comes across a short uphill to Thangsyap with several teahouses before continuing to Langtang village.
In between, you cross the old Langtang Village destroyed by the devastating 2015 April earthquake in Nepal. Then, the trail continues towards the new Langtang village that is built with the resilience of the Langtangpa (people of Langtang), serving as a popular tourist stop. The Langtang village welcomes you with a long Mani wall that is made with carved stones. From the area, you can witness Langtang II, Langtang Lirung, and Ganja la ranges.
Leaving Langtang village the trek starts with the stunning views of Langtang and Dorje Lakpa ranges. Trekking on this day is short and easy. The trails are surrounded by wide Yak pastures and gentle slopes alongside the Langtang River. With the gain in altitude, You can witness the thinning forest, Alpine herbs, Juniper bushes, Seabuck trees, and winter berry trees.
On the wide fields the Himalayan Tahrs, Himalayan Yaks, and Horses graze freely. If lucky you might see Bluesheep on the rocky edges of cliffs. Different Alpine birds dance different patterns around the hills. Above the wide fields, there are stunning cascading waterfalls formed by the melted snow from the mountains. With more time to explore and steady paths make sure you capture every moment and enjoy the journey until you reach Kyanjin Gompa.
If you have extra time in the evening there is a lot to explore in the village. You can explore the area, Kyanjin monastery, and cheese factory.

Another day at Kyanjin Gompa rises through the Himalayas! This day is for exploring, acclimatizing and a side day hike trip to Kyanjin Ri or Tsergo Ri.
Kyanjin Ri: Trekkers who are looking for a moderate side trip that adds to an adventurous journey Kyanjin Ri is a good choice. The trail is rocky, rugged, and provides stunning panoramic views of Langtang Lirung, Kinsung, Changbu, Gangchenpo, Langtangtang Glacier and Ganja La ranges.
Tsergo Ri: This side trip is comparatively more challenging than the Kyanjin Ri trek. There is more altitude gain, steep ascend with more stunning mountain views. The point opens up more mountains including Shishapangma (Tibetan mountain) and Langshisa Ri. You can get clear views of the Langtang Glaciers that are stunning enough to make you awe-struck. Keep your eyes up for the Tibetan Snow cock that is often found hopping on the distant rocks!

This day involves descent, leaving the alpine meadows, Yak pastures, Seabuck, and winter berry trees. Greet the lush Rhododendrons, Oak, mosses, and pines once again. The mountains turn away slowly behind the green hills. The Langtang River gets close and guides your way with its beautiful calming flows. Today your lungs take relief as the altitude decreases, however, the knees can get tired.
You retrace footsteps passing through the teahouses and villages of Pering Kharka, Chunnama, Langtang, Thansyap, Ghodatabela, and Riverside. Continuing the journey do not forget to keep your eyes open for the playful monkeys curiously watching you! Make sure your ears enjoy the chirping songs of the birds. Get your final glimpses of Langtang Lirung and savour the moment until you reach Lama Hotel.

Today you continue on the Bamboo ridges, Rhododendron, and Oak forest. The narrow trails lead through the beautiful lush greenery covered with fallen leaves and rocks painted with mosses. You are back on the trails covered with the strong scent of woods, and Sal trees.
You stretch your way back to the teahouses of Rimche, Bamboo, Pahiro, and Domen riverside before reaching Syabrubesi. The downhills can be slightly tough for the knees today. Take this opportunity to reflect on the Langtang journey you had with your group and team members

Spring: Trekking in Langtang during the spring season offers wide opportunities to explore the blooming nature. During this time you can witness the trails covered in Rhododendrons and wild-flowers that enrich the trek experience. Weather is predictable and the temperature is moderated suitable for trekking.
Autumn: It is a festive period of the year. During autumn you can enjoy different festivals and the vibrant wildlife of Langtang National Park. As the time occurs after monsoon the mountains and the Lush forests are washed providing scenic experiences.
The Langtang Valley Trek is an easy to moderate-level trek suitable for every trekker. This trek does not require any prior experience. It does not require technical climbing and is doable by any trekkers with good physical fitness.
Terrain: The paths are mixed with narrow forested trails that are rocky. There are few steep uphill and gradual downhill. It winds through the river banks, thrilling suspension bridges, and open fields. The trails can get slippery in monsoon so, make sure you pack accordingly.
Altitude: Altitude sickness on this trek is less, however, it should not be underestimated. It ranges from around 1,500m at Syabrubesi to around 5,000m at Tsergo Ri. To avoid the risks of the illness, ascend slowly, hydrate yourself, and follow the instructions of the guide.
Accommodation: Teahouses (Guesthouses) along the trails are well-built with basic facilities. You can get decent internet and charging facilities except in the teahouses of Lama Hotel. Proper meals and warm lodges are provided for the trekkers.
