Welcome to the country of the Himalayas! As you land at the airport and get off, our representative warmly welcomes you and assists with your arrival. Then, accompany you to your hotel in a private vehicle.  During this time, we will let you know about the trip meeting time and location.

Once the check-in procedure is complete, feel free to rest, prepare for the trip, or enjoy a walk around the area if the time permits!


Today you leave the crowded city behind and take a drive to the countryside of Nepal, Machha Khola. The first half of the drive is smooth and the rest of the journey continues on typical off-road of Nepal. However, the approach to remoteness actually opens up towards beautiful green landscape with one of the beautiful River of Nepal, Budi Gandhaki. The Village Machha Khola located between two river at of 870 meters which is lower than Kathmandu.

This is the first day of Trekking on foot on the trails of Tsum Valley Manaslu Trek. On this day you pass through valleys of rocky hills with the Budi Gandhaki flowing on the side. Until Dovan, passing through Khorlabesi village you walk on the roads that are used for seasonal transportation.

Then, you come across a suspension bridge where you start on the narrow trails along the cliffs that gives you a thrilling experience. Then a glimpse of North-East view of Ganesh Himal II can be seen peeping through the Hills. Continuing, you reach a small settlement, Yaru Bagar where Nepal’s first Cantilever bridge is built. Passing through it, enjoying along the soars of River, and a stunning landscape  another settlement comes across, Jagat which is the last stop of the day and an entry point of the Manaslu Conservation Area.

Today you begin trekking within the Manaslu Conservation Area, a protected area of Nepal that is rich in diverse wildlife. Continuing on the rocky trails, you can witness different locally grown crop fields of rice and millets. Enjoying the rocky landscapes you pass by the villages of Salleri and Sirdibas. Then you reach Philim, a small settlement alongside the beautiful Budi Gandhaki River. From the village you get charming view of the snow-capped Shringi Himal on distant.

Moving forward you cross a long thrilling suspension bridge before coming across a single teashop known as Ekle Bhatti. The teashop has a stunning view of the roaring blue River with cascading waterfalls in distant. Following the River you come at a point where you separate from the Manaslu Circuit Trekking route. A welcome gate of Tsum Valley marks the beginning of trek in the Tsum. Enjoying the lush forest of Rhododendrons, Bamboo, and Oak you reach village named Lokpa where you stay for a night.

You come across several steep uphill and downhill, suspension bridges, and a cantilever bridge alongside the cliffs today. The dense forest of Rhododendron, fir, pine, and oak dominates the trail until Chumling. You can find Glimpses of Ganesh Himal while enjoying the turquoise beauty of Siyar Khola.

In between you can find only two teahouses, the first teahouse you come across after Lokpa is Gomlung, and another one is Gaddhi Khola just before the final uphill towards Chumling. The uphill consists of stone stairs, rocky and narrow trails. Therefore, we suggest trekkers be careful along the edges and the steep stairs. After a couple of hours walk from Lokpa, we get our destination for today, Chumling Village.

The beautiful morning starts with Crystal Mountains and gigantic hills aside. Diving deep into the Tsum Valley you walk on the trails that are less travelled and seeking to be discovered. Enjoying the stunning views of Ganesh and Shringi Himal you pass by the picturesque villages of Konzer, Chhi, Dhramba, before reaching Rainjam. The routes until rainjam does not include steep ascends.

After Rainjam village, you come across final ascend inside dense Pine forest and Rocky Mountains before Chhokang Paro, this section of the trails includes rock falling area, need to be careful.

From this day you continue the journey on alpine wildlife. The mountain views becomes clear and you can witness the frosted forest at the distant. Today the trek feels like entering a holy Buddhist land as the trails consists of Mani Walls, Chorten, Gumbas, and Authentic villages with stone houses.

And do not forget to witness the traditional dresses (Chuba) worn by the local people! Locals are friendly and guest are warmly welcomed. Today you pass by the villages of Jhong, Ngayu/Leru, Lamagaun, Rajen, Pangdun and Chule before the last stop for today Nile. Each village you pass by today is beautiful and adds to the Authentic experience on the Tsum Valley.

Discover the last point of the Tsum Valley Trekking trail which is Mu Gompa. There are no teahouses in Between today. Get amazed by a breathtaking close up view of Taya Himal along with a beautiful River flowing through it before leaving the village. Trekking today is short so, take enough time to explore.

Make sure, you do not miss rare sightings as there is high chances of coming across Himalayan Musk Deer, Lophophorus, Tibetan Snowcock, and Blue sheep today. The trail is easy and has a short steep uphill just before reaching Mu Gompa. On the remaining time take a visit inside Gompa that is more than 300 years old. After the memorable exploration around, hike back to Nile.

Now, this is the day to return and retrace the footsteps back to Chumling. Leaving the Upper Tsum you head towards the lower Tsum. It is a long day trekking today, the day includes mostly downhills and a slight uphill. Crossing alpine graze lands, you approach the green grasslands and lush forests. Then, passing by the same villages with collected memories the trek blends with the feeling of nostalgia and excitement all the way to Chhekampar, again the trails consist of steep downhill and rocky turns until the Rainjam Village. Then it continues on a slight ascend and descend before reaching Chumling. Slowly the mountains shy away behind the Hills and you are awarded with recreational memories.

It is the last day trek on Tsum Valley trail, on this day you connect to the Manaslu Circuit Trekking trail and separate ways with the Tsum Valley trekking route. A suspension bridge after crossing the welcome gate of Tsum Valley marks the start of the trekking on Manaslu Circuit Trek route. The first village you come across before reaching Deng is Nyak Phedi village. Today the trekking is mostly accompanied by the mountain views of Shringi Himal, Siyar River, and Budi Gandhaki. You will walk through the dense forest with some steep and slight uphill at the end to reach Deng Village.

Another Day continues on the trail of Manaslu Circuit. The trekking continues on trails with dense forests of Oak, Pine, and Rhododendron. As the Ascend continues after leaving Deng, you pass by the charming villages of Rana, Bihi Phedi, Bihi, Prok, Ghap, and Ghapsyak before reaching the last stop of the day, Namrung with long steep uphill along the river and alpine forest. Along the trails you get to see beautiful snow capped mountain views of Shringi Himal, Ganesh Himal and more.

Today you get to enjoy one of the beautiful parts of the Manaslu Circuit trekking trail as the day introduces several renowned mountains of Nepal and stunning landscapes. The trail continues along the lush forests and Budi Gandaki. As the ascent continues you come across stunning views of Himchuli after you cross Lihi Village.

Another village you visit is Sho from where you can get amazing Himalayan views of Manaslu, Manaslu North, and Naike Peak. Following the fresh breezes, stunning mountains, flowing River, stone-carved Mani walls, and Kani Gates with the Thanga paintings, you reach Lho village. With its Ribung Gompa perfectly standing in front of the massive Mount Manaslu it is widely popular. This is the last stop of the day before continuing another adventurous day on the Manaslu Circuit. You might visit to Lho Ribung Monastery in the afternoon.

As you are approaching the high altitude zone you need to acclimate your body. So this is a significant day of the trek where you stay for acclimatizing and rest. This day includes a side trip to discover the hidden gems near the charming Samagaun Village.

Manaslu Base Camp (4,800m): A side trip to the Base Camp of Mount Manaslu is a thrilling experience to be part of. While on the way to Base Camp you get stunning Birendra Lake with the panoramic 360-degree views of Manaslu North, Manaslu, and Naike Peak from the Base Camp.
