Day 01: Arrive at Tribhuwan International Airport (TIA) Kathmandu

Day 02: Kathmandu to Dhap Bazar

Day 03: Dhap Bazaar to Jhapre village (2820m)

Day 04: Jhapre to Pikey Peak Base Camp (3640m), 12 - 14 km, 5-6 hours

Day 05: Climb to Pikey peak and continue trek to Junbesi via Jase Bhanjyang

Day 06: Exploration day at Junbesi and the Thupten Chholing Monastery

Pikey Peak Trek – 09 Days Itinerary

Day 01: Arrive at Tribhuwan International Airport (TIA) Kathmandu

Arrive in Kathmandu at any time. Our “Explore Vision Nepal” representative will warmly welcome you and explain the program further. After you get in there you will have a brief meeting about Pikey Peak program. There are no planned activities for the day, so check into the hotel. Enjoy your overnight stay at the hotel.

Day 02: Kathmandu to Dhap Bazar

Early in the morning, you will leave from Kathmandu with your trekking guide and porter for Dhap Bazaar covering a distance of around 240 – 245 km. It may take around 7 to 9 hours to be there at Dhap. Following the riverside of Sunkoshi Khola, which later joins Tama Koshi Khola, and finally the bigger and larger Koshi river until we reach the common stop being Ghurmi.

Traditional terraced fields on the slopes of the high hills, local villages and local markets, where women are selling organic vegetables grown in their field are passed by.

As we drive and get closer to Dhap Bazar at an altitude of 2850 meters, the distant Everest range begins to appear.

Overnight stay at Dhap Bazaar. Morning Breakfast, Lunch, and Dinner are included for the day.
