The Everest High Passes Trek offers you with an exceptional opportunity to witness the magnanimous Himalayan ranges over 8000m including Mt. Everest, Cho Oyu, Lhotse, Makalu and Nepal’s largest glacier the Ngozumpa Glacier. Passing through stoned houses and meadows on the bank of Dudh Pokhari, we will witness the Gokyo Lake and cross the three highest passes of the Everest Region.
Once we land at the Lukla Airport, we will be walking down the Dudh Koshi River until we reach the Sherpa capital of the region Namche Bazaar. The astonishing views of the Khumbu mountains like Ama Dablam (6856m), Thamserku (6608m) and the Everest will leave you speechless. Thereon, we will also walk on the messy, risky moraines of Ngozumpa Glacier the main glacier in Nepal, being enchanted by varied scenery of the Gokyo valley, including the series of beautiful Gokyo Lake.
We will get to visit lake Longpongo which is at an altitude of 4690m. Subsequently, the second lake, Taboche Tsho totally enthralls us with its shiny turquoise blue water alluring in the sun. We will also notice that the Gokyo village set by the third lake and Cho-Oyu peak as a backdrop provide a wonderful sight here. Overall, this trek gives the best opportunity to trek along the three beautiful passes situated at high elevation in the Everest Region namely Kongma La Pass, Cho La Pass and Renjo La Pass.
