It all began simply on the trails of the Himalayas. With more than 14 years of involvement in field and administrations within Travel and Tourism of Nepal, Arun Sapkota founded Explore Vision Nepal with the clear goal of providing meaningful and responsible travel journeys across Nepal, Tibet, and Butan.

Guiding trekkers, witnessing the tears when they see beauty, listening to their stories, and sharing simple moments, he slowly learned what travel truly means. It taught him what traveling far from home means, so he wanted to create his own ‘Home far from Home as Explore Vision Nepal’. Where every traveler is safe, secure, friendly, and professional.

As much as Arun was mesmerized by the beauty of his own homeland, he was a bit saddened by the struggles of tourism. Working closely with the local communities he noticed how deep tourism was for them. To maintain sustainable and responsible tourism he decided to take a step for it and established Explore Vision Nepal with Love and Care.

Having seen mountain life from close in these years, Arun Sapkota wanted to preserve and protect the culture with respect rather than exploit it. For that, he leads Explore Vision Nepal with responsible principles for environment and provides a space where travelers can have their own choices, their needs are supported, and only positive marks is left.
